One Card Draw
A one card draw is a quick and easy way to assess the energy of a situation. I will phrase your question in an open-ended manner: “What can Spirit share with (me) about …”. rather than “Will I” or “When”.
I do not place a lot of faith in yes/no, predictive questions - life is complex and the future is open ended. I do not want to set my clients up for disappointments by giving false hopes if things do not come to pass as predicted or discourage a client about a possible situation and thereby influence them negatively. Open ended phrasing allows the client to think in productive ways about the situation, regardless of the card’s message.
Take the message as one piece of information, that you consider ALONG with your own intuition about the topic. If it resonates, great, the reading is useful to you. If it is disappointing or does does not make sense, put is aside and reflect on the meaning of the card. It may make sense to you at a later time. If not, it simply may have been “off” - that happens sometimes. It can also help to have a 2nd card drawn for clarification-
